Velox Systems leads over 50 companies in Central Oregon in the areas of their information technology and technical tools for business operation. -We excel at providing the right solution to increase revenue and reduce costs for our clients, then we offer support for those solutions with wicked fast speed. -We're looking for amazing personalities with some technical aptitude to destroy the stereotype of the typical IT Professional and be a Tech Hero for our clients when they need support. -We have amazing clients who love working with outgoing, confident, level-headed people when they're having their worst days at work. - -This job is a lot of counseling, over-the-phone hugs, and even requires the occasional stern heart-to-heart to make sure our clients have what they need to love their computers again; all while being a tech ninja and solving problems in networks, computers, servers and online services. - -Day to day looks like the following: Being a hero for each and every person we support. -Resolve their tech support issues in a timely manner (aka Tech Ninja). -Maintain your schedule and document your work accurately so everyone on our team knows who's helping who and when. -Dominate our monthly Ping Pong tournaments. -Continually learn more and more about the business and enterprise technology that is out there. -Improve what our clients are already using. -Be awesome -You'll be finding yourself on the phone often talking to people while you can hop on their computer remotely and dig into their problems, solve them, and keep them from happening again. -You also may find yourself driving to our client's office and helping them in person. - -Professional appearance and attitude are essential. -Some technical support experience is a must, as long as you weren't trained to be a jerk. -You also need to be able and willing to drive, carry boxes of computers and network equipment, and able to work 40 hours a week. -If this sounds like something you're interested in, follow the instructions LinkedIn provides to apply for the job and we'll see if you have it!
