Job Description:

Aerotek is seeking a qualified HVAC Service Technician for a larger Manufacturing/Production position in Redmond, OR. Pay rate varies on experience 28-40$HR.This is ideally a Monday-Friday shift working 40-50 hour weeks. Candidates receive benefits, PTO, Paid Holidays etc. Those who are entry-level or may not qualify should still apply as the company may have an additional opening for you. Ideal candidates will be providing maintenance on specialized commercial HVAC systems and be able to demonstrate high quality customer service. Some job duties are listed below: Provide maintenance on specialized commercial HVAC systems according to Company standards providing the customer with high quality experience.

• Start up and -service mechanical and electronic equipment.
• Review work order and related manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams to determine tasks to be performed and tools, equipment, and parts needed for installation or repair assignment.
• Discuss assignment with customer's representative and inspect installation site to verify that electrical wires, conduit, switches, and circuit breakers are installed according to specification.
• Troubleshoot HVAC equipment to detect malfunction and repair or replace defective parts, using hand tools and power tools.
• Interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and repair equipment utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools.
• Consult with engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation and maintenance.
• Document service calls and start ups noting product performance, and suggestions for product improvements.Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional trade schools or certifications a plus
  • Knowledge of industry products/equipment a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience with a variety of hand tools.
  • Experience in making repair and replace decisions.
  • Familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Mechanical aptitude and general tool knowledge
  • Must be able to travel 50% of the time.
  • Valid driver's license with clean MVR.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in written.
