Changes to its assigned classification, requirements, job duties, and salary range may occur.) Starting Minimum Pay: $48,222 plus exceptional benefit package Starting Maximum Pay: $57,406 plus exceptional benefit package Hours per Week: 40 hr/wk Work Schedule: Typically 8:00am - 5:00pm Days of the Week: Typically Monday - Friday Job Summary/Purpose: Primary Purpose:Under the direction of the President, the Title III Project Coordinator will work with the Vice President of Instruction and the Dean of Student and Enrollment Services to facilitate and oversee the College's Title III Strengthening Institutions Program (SIP) grant ensuring compliance with all federal and state requirements. Terms of Employment: --- This is a 12-month exempt position at pay level 24 in the Administrative salary schedule. --- Requires flexible work schedule, which may include evenings and/or weekends as well as travel throughout the district. --- Requires the provision of official transcripts upon hire. --- Upon hire, must pass criminal and/or driving history; only information relevant to the position will be considered. Essential Functions: 1.Provide general leadership and oversight of the grant activities including implementation, monitoring, reporting, and compliance. 2.Prepare report, reconcile, and approve expenditures; evaluate cost management; and monitor budget requirements. 3.Working with grant activity leads, Institutional Effectiveness and Title III External Evaluator Consultant, to conduct program analysis and evaluation; develop and distribute dashboard reports; ensure College constituents are informed of Title III goals, objectives and achievements; complete and submit all federal reporting requirements; and prepare updates and reports, both written and presentation formats, for campus constituents. 4.In collaboration with the external evaluator and the College's Institutional Effectiveness Office, collect and report the data required for the evaluation plan. 5.Work with grant activity leads, ensure that COCC's branch campuses are integrating into project implementation activities, goals and objectives as appropriate. 6.Assist in institutionalizing project activities into the College for post-grant sustainability. 7.Perform other related duties as required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 1.Knowledge of and experience in project management including using time effectively, critical problem-solving, good communication, fiscal oversight and managing budgets, and great attention to detail. 2.Knowledge of and experience with annual reporting (dashboard, objectives and indicators, goal outcomes). 3.Must have good listening and interpersonal skills to serve as the liaison between Title III Leadership Team, Advisory Committee, Activity teams, U.S. Department of Education, and the external grant evaluator. 4.Ability to work effectively across a wide range of departments, with faculty and administrators, and with various interest groups. 5.Must be a self-starter, work collaboratively in a team environment, be highly motivated, and possess good judgment in identifying issues, stakeholders, and priorities. 6.Must be able to effectively problem solve issues that affect multiple departments, bringing stakeholders to a reasonable consensus on process. 7.Ability to effectively learn and work with computer systems including spreadsheets (Excel). 8.Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, using the English language. 9.Ability to work cooperatively with various interest groups in a higher education setting, especially community colleges. Physical Demands and Other Ergonomic Requirements: Working hours are generally Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Additional hours or schedule changes may be required based on work requirements including attending monthly evening board meetings. Work is performed in an office setting, mostly sitting with frequent computer use. Individual is required to be able to perform the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
