DEPARTMENTAL SUMMARY: The St. Charles Health System's Decision
Support Department provides reporting, data mining, data analysis
and metric definition assistance for all departments at St. Charles
Health System. The department is part of the Information Technology
organization. These services include operational reports,
dashboards including trending data and KPIs, analytical reports,
and predictive modeling among others.
POSITION OVERVIEW: The Cogito Business Analyst II at St. Charles
Health System performs analysis, designs, develops, deploys,
supports and maintains reporting and data extracts for the various
business units and clinical stakeholders serviced by the Enterprise
Data Warehouse (EDW). This position will provide consultation and
support in the development, analysis, design, and management of
Epic application reporting and data extracts to support the
clinical process improvement and waste reduction initiatives. This
position does not directly manage any other caregivers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
Assess the data needs of all Epic end-users through
investigations, analysis, and evaluation to create

Required: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology required.
4 years of relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of a

Required: 2 years of experience in programming, analytics, or
report writing in addition to the educational requirements
