Description:Development coordinator to support SR PMs in the design review, permiting, entitlement stages of a construction commercial project. Assist the Project Manager with the planning and daily execution of the development project. Maintaining certain aspects of the development timeline as assigned by the Project Manager, by managing the timely review/processing of information, schedules and budgets.Work closely with members of the development, design, construction, and support teamsWork with Internal/External designers (Architectural, Interior, Structural) and Project Manager to review/prepare/track/execute correctly and cost-effectivelyAssist Project Manager with pre-construction review of drawings, verifying all Development requirements are met and accuracy of drawingsTasks related to entitlements, estimating, scheduling, permitting, licensure, Collect, organize, update, and distribute construction documentation, including drawings, specs, submittals, estimates, contracts, PO's, O&M'sWorking knowledge of the contract documents to include reviewing all drawings and specifications for design inconsistencies and conflictsMake site visits during construction; provide reports of construction statusAssist in preparing coordination communications as directed by the Project ManagerOnsite coordination of building turnover priorities before/during/after turnover as directed by Project Manager (travel and out-of-town work will be required)Skills:real estate, project coordination, construction, entitlement, Development acquisition, Real estate development finance, Retail, Commercial construction, Multi family constructionAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Degree in real estate development or urban planningexperience with development of design for commercial projects understands how to broker a project, find tenants, "lease up" a project understands the entitlement processExperience Level:Intermediate LevelAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
