Performance Foodservice, a leader in food distribution, is seeking a dedicated Regional Relief Delivery Driver to ensure timely delivery of food and food-related products to our diverse customer base, which ranges from small family-operated restaurants to large nationwide chains. This role requires adaptability and a strong commitment to excellent customer service, as it covers various routes in absence of regular drivers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all deliveries are conducted safely and efficiently, maintaining the quality and integrity of goods, and upholding the standards of Performance Foodservice. Cover multiple delivery routes in the absence of regular drivers to ensure uninterrupted service. Load, transport, and deliver items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner. Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied. Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles. Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules. Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record. Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries. Operate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Good driving record with no traffic violations. Proficiency in using GPS devices. Medical Insurance 401k Valid driver’s license. Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred but not required.
