SOLV Energy is looking for a talented Senior Software Developer to fill an interdisciplinary position within our Technology Group. Members of this team support our in-house web-based software applications for construction management, advanced analytics, reporting and data monitoring solutions. This is an exciting role within a fast-paced team environment focused on delivering and supporting industry leading utility-scale operations and monitoring solutions. Position Responsibilities and Duties:

• Contribute to all aspects of the web-based software development lifecycle: translate functional requirements to implementable software specifications, design, implement solutions, peer review, build, test, and launch applications
• Create custom applications and lead technical feature development per user requirements
• Implement user interface (UI) functionality and backend data processing
• Develop creative, efficient, and optimized database solutions
• Collect and manage data by coding customized software based on need
• Analyze correlations of events and summarize cause and effect to senior management
• Manage cloud architecture and make recommendations for upgrades and enhancements based on project and business demands
• Develop methods for monitoring capacity utilization and planning for required changes
• Maintain and debug live software systems
• Mentor other team members
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years web-based software development and programming experience
  • Developing for performance optimization with large and complex data sets
  • Proficiency in one or more of these languages: TypeScript, React, Python, Rust
  • Strong experience with JavaScript and front-end or full stack development experience using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue or React
  • Experience making intuitive UI designs for web-based software applications
  • Possess advanced software development and database knowledge
  • Understanding of API use to consume data in various formats such as JSON.
  • Experience with HTML and CSS
  • Experience with AWS and cloud services
  • Proficiency with Git and deployment automation
  • Strong problem-solving ability and analytical skills
  • Positive attitude and desire to collaborate effectively with others
  • Ability to multitask between multiple complex projects and operational requests
