The ideal candidate has experience with Nursing and Ancillary Recruiting.POSITION OVERVIEW: The Healthcare Recruiter at St. Charles Health system plans, develops and implements full-cycle recruitment strategies focusing on a mixture of clinical and non-clinical positions with special emphasis on creating and maintaining a well qualified and diverse pool of candidates in a timely and cost effective manner. - Advises and consults with project managers, consultants/vendors and hiring managers as it relates to recruitment in assigned areas. - This position is also responsible for developing a network of contacts in the community and industry and participating in ongoing initiatives to develop, integrate and improve the recruiting process for St. Charles Health System (SCHS). - This position does not directly manage any other caregivers.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES: Provides leadership in the recruitment and retention of talent for clinical and non-clinical based positions across multiple disciplines for the system, clinics and all St. Charles Health System campuses. -Establish and maintain ongoing relationships with hiring managers and executive leadership in order to understand the business unit and its recruitment needs; develop and maintain strong rapport with key leaders in the department; become knowledgeable of hiring managers department"---s business objectives, goals, operations and cultureResponsible for creating and executing recruitment plans to proactively source candidates and meet assigned department needsDetermines and advises internal hiring managers about external market trends, effective interviewing, compensation/offers, etc. -Facilitates as a subject matter expert the pre-job posting, internal restructure and promotion processes. - Provides guidelines, expertise, and recommendations for job description creation, departmental structure, recruitment process, performance management, etc.Partners with Labor and Employee Relations for performance management of new hires. - Collaborates to continually improve the quality of hires.Proactively and aggressively recruits for well qualified candidates from a variety of sources; managing selection process to include interviewing, assessing candidates, screening and recommending finalist and filling the needs in a timely and efficient mannerManages the recruitment process to ensure all EEOC guidelines are followedPrepares compensation packages, extends offers, negotiates with candidates and managers and - facilitates the onboarding process for candidates.Partners closely with Recruiting Coordinator(s) to conduct job appropriate pre-employment eligiblity requirements.Directs, organizes and coordinates new hire process with manager and education department, ensure procedures and legal requirements are completed in a timely mannerResearches and develops community and academic liaisons; develop applicant outreach programs and establish viable applicant pools for future openings. - Attend career fairs, conventions and community job fairs when appropriate. - Actively participate as a knowledgeable ambassador for careers at St. Charles Health System in the community. - Present regarding employment at St. Charles Health System to the community at appropriate venues.Provide consultation on a variety of human resource issues and work closely with all disciplines of the department to facilitate effective relationships within St. Charles Health System. - Advise potential candidates, applicants and hiring managers regarding orientation, benefits, and compensation in relationship to recruitment duties.Analyzing hiring results, metrics and trends to manage performance of team and individuals. Produce accurate and useful reports for managers and system. Based on data, make appropriate recommendations to enhance the recruiting process.Prepare and distribute recruiting and other related reports on recruitment activity.Provide education and consultation services to hiring managers to achieve optimal recruitment goals.Role models two-way communication of the St. Charles Health System mission, vision, values, and strategic plan for the department.Conducts all activities with the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality. - Complies with all applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures, supporting the health system"---s corporate integrity efforts by acting in an ethical and appropriate manner, reporting known or suspected violations of applicable rules, and cooperating fully with all company investigations and proceedings.Delivers customer service and/or patient care in a manner that promotes goodwill, is timely, efficient and accurateSupports the vision, mission and values of the organization in all respects.Supports Value Improvement Practice (VIP- Lean) principles of continuous improvement with energy and enthusiasm, functioning as a champion of change.Provides and maintains a safe environment for caregivers, patients and guests.May perform additional duties of similar complexity within the organization, as required or assigned.EDUCATION - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Required: - Bachelor"---s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field OR the equivalent experience of full-cycle recruiting. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Preferred: N/ALICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATIONRequired: Valid Oregon driver's license and meet St. Charles Health System driving requirements with the ability to travel to all St. Charles Health System campuses - - - - - - - - - -Preferred: N/AEXPERIENCERequired: 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience. -Preferred: Experience recruiting healthcare positions. -Knowledge of basic Lean Concepts and/or continuous improvement methodologies. -Working knowledge of all HR functional areas with an emphasis on EEOC laws and requirements, federal and state employment laws, immigration requirements and ADA. -Ability to utilize applicant tracking tools to proactively source candidates for current and future openings within the SCHS system. -Collective bargaining experience. - - - - - - -
