Charlie's was founded in quality, and we are proud that it is still our focus.With a team of dedicated people who are passionate about food, supply chain, and their community we are looking for like minded individuals to help further our goal to enhance our communities through quality produce.--What we offer:Overtime availabilityAn amazing company culture!Medical/Dental/Vision on the first of the month following hireESOP (Profit Sharing) and 401(k)Paid vacations, paid sick time, paid holidaysCoverage under State Sick Leave100% Prepaid College Tuition for employees and their dependentsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Additional Compensation Details:Up to $29.00 per hour dependent on experience90-day performance reviewYearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenureResponsibilitiesScheduleTypical dispatch times are between 12 AM and 4 AM. 5 days a week.The RoleYou will be primarily responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of produce to customers throughout the Central Oregon area.Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited ToAccurately check invoices as you make deliveriesLoad and unload product from trailer with electric pallet jackAttention to detail in a fast-paced, customer-focused environmentPerform superior customer service as you interact with customers at each deliveryAssist in issuing credit memos and collecting payment for COD customersPromote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude with colleaguesProfessionally maintained, reliable and safe equipmentPalletized product is delivered to a dock or with a lift gateAll other duties as requested or assignedQualificationsRequired Skills and ExperienceBe 23 yrs. or older1+ year of driving experience highly preferredValid Class A CDL and medical cardInterstate qualification, registeredDemonstrated ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs. throughout shiftPer DOT rules, applicant should have the ability to read and understand EnglishSatisfactory driving recordAll job offers for this position are contingent upon passing a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen (includes THC), and company road test.Charlie's Produce is the largest privately owned produce wholesalers on the West Coast.
