Job Description:
Juniper Preserve is excited to announce the exceptional career
opportunity of Bellman/Valet. Qualified candidates will thrive in a

service for our guests.
Hourly Rate: $17-$18/hour
SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the Bellstaff/Valet will be to
provide a warm and welcoming experience for all resort guests,
resort members, and their guests. The Bellstaff will act as an
ambassador for Pronghorn by providing exceptional service and
providing detailed information regarding property outlets and
featured amenities. Members of the Bellstaff will be required to
perform guest transportation as needed, park guest vehicles, and
deliver routine errands. Valid Oregon Driver License and clean
driving record is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain complete knowledge at all times of:
Daily arrivals/departures/house count;
Features and services of the property;
Hours of operation for each outlet;
Parking facilities, layout and procedures;
Scheduled daily group activities and resort functions;
Must demonstrate a guest driven style of service with an upbeat,
friendly sense of urgency in all interactions with all guests.
Be both flexible and welcoming to change within a growing
company.
Greet and welcome all guests that come to the property with an
enthusiastic yet professional manner.
Assist with check-ins, check-outs, pre-arrival inspections, and
general errands.
Assist guests with room orientation, luggage assistance, owner
storage bins, and educate guests to property amenities and
features.
Maintain organization & cleanliness of Trailhead amenities, pool
area, patio, and towels.
Complete opening and closing checklists.
Work a varying schedule to include evenings, mornings, weekends,
and holidays.
Manage the workflow effectively and in an organized and timely
manner.
Transport guests to and from Pronghorn property using company
issued vehicles, obeying all driving standards at all times.
Maintain cleanliness of all company vehicles including golf
carts.
Assist guests with parking vehicles in designated parking
areas.
Complete guest errands such as grocery shopping or deliveries as
assigned by management.
Must maintain the privacy of all Pronghorn guests.
Able to effectively handle multiple tasks.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Maintains a professional standard at Pronghorn including, but not
limited to, appearance, interaction with members, associates,
guests of the resort, verbal discussions and written
correspondence. Does not discuss work related issues with members
and resort guests.
Supports and adheres to the CORE Values (ie. "The T.R.I.P."),
Service Fundamentals, and Guest Service Philosophy as defined by
the Company.
Maintains a positive attitude and the flexibility to take on new
and different tasks as assigned by the Guest Services Manager or
Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to
perform each duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be

Must be over 21 years of age.
Able to pass a drug test.
Valid Oregon driver's license with no recent alcohol related
offenses or criminal record.
College or university qualifications are beneficial. Any in-house
training sessions which the applicant has performed in past
employment.
SKILLS
Required
Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, memos and
email correspondence.
Ability to write complex correspondence with staff and guests.
Ability to effectively communicate information to both guests and
staff.
Ability to hold and comprehend phone conversations.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out
instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Ability to multi-task to provide solutions to situations deal with
several variables
Use of Google platform, Word, Excel and Outlook.
Basic Accounting skills.
Ability to fully comprehend complex equipment instructions.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Requires a valid Oregon Driver License.
TRAVEL REQUIRMENTS
Local travel may be required often depending on the season.
Regional travel for training purposes may be occasionally
required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Inside 50% of an 8 hour shift, Outside 50% of an 8 hour shift
frequently, and may work outside 100% of an 8 hour shift on
occasion.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to
limit lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying over 50 lbs, including
movement of furniture; must be able to reach overhead; be able to
bend and kneel for extended periods of time. The employee will be
in continuous movement across all areas of the property and body
flexibility for movement of furniture and equipment is a necessary
ability. Occasional sitting at a desk and phone use; continuous
standing is required; climbing stairs is required; minimal driving
required, and a valid Oregon drivers license is required. Employees
will also need to answer the telephone and radio; deal with
paperwork, computer systems, electrical and mechanical systems; and
communicate with guests to solve problems. Employees must know how
to identify and handle chemicals used in routine work through use
of MSDS.
