Who you are --- You are creative, driven, and passionate and love to have fun while you re at work--- You enjoy going above and beyond for your team and guests--- You have a minimum of two years of experience working as a cook in a Banquet Setting--- You are self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail --- You thrive in a fast-paced kitchen and have experience managing multiple cooks--- You enjoy preparing exceptional food in a timely, courteous and accurate manner--- You have pride in your presentation and display of your culinary art--- You are able to work evenings, nights, weekends and holidays What you ll do --- In partnership with the Banquet Chef, manages daily food preparation and execution of meal periods while minimizing waste and spoilage--- Assists with the management of the banquet kitchen team members--- Receives product and supplies and stocks items in their designated storage areas. --- Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of all walk-in and reach-in refrigerators, and dry good storage areas--- Ensures clean and sanitary food preparation areas in accordance with state and local sanitation requirements and codes; focus is on food safety, a clean working environment, and careful attention to safe cooking practice--- Maintains cleaning standard checklists and performs final inspection of all side duties and closing responsibilities--- Assists in purchasing decisions (food, paper goods, supplies) for the department, as well as assisting in inventory management--- Communicate clearly and develops strong working relationships with all team members working in banquets/events and throughout the property--- Remains abreast of industry trends and changes that may affect or enhance the offerings --- Participates in providing constructive feedback to team members on a consistent basis, contributing to performance management and employee recognition Extra Perks!--- Medical, dental and vision insurance coverage for eligible employees--- 401(k) plan with Company match--- Paid time off--- Golf privileges--- Discounts at Tetherow Restaurants & Golf Shop--- $5 Employee Breakfast & Lunch Meals from The Row--- Employee referral bonuses--- Work in one of the most beautiful settings in Central Oregon!
