It is a full-time job. Ability to work evening hours, some weekend days and holidays is a must!You know the impact that a beautifully plated meal made from fresh ingredients has on a dining experience. You will be part of the team responsible for educating residents and team members about healthy food options, getting to know a community of wonderful people, and helping to ensure that we always maintain the Gold Standard in all aspects of cooking, food preparation, and presentation.Requirements:

  • A commitment to Touchmark?s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers
  • At least 2 years of culinary experience in an upscale/fine dining establishment
  • Graduate of an accredited culinary program is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Strong knowledge and attention to detail on back of the house operations including: product quality, staff supervision, and food/labor cost
  • Personable, positive, ability to interact with guests
  • Speaks, reads and writes English in order to understand written and oral communication
  • Stable and progressive work history; strong work ethicThe ideal candidate will:
    • Lead back of house staff in kitchen
    • Maintain sanitation and food safety procedures and organization of work area
    • Assist in ordering food and supplies
    • Be committed to and passionate about high food standards and service
    • Experienced in culinary responsibilities of a kitchen
    • Have proven culinary experience and have an excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
    • Be willing to work weekends and holidays
    • Maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with all guests and team members
    • Possess a valid food handler?s card
    • Have basic computer knowledge and experience
