live their best life. POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Director
of Programs, the QMHP is responsible for the continuous objective
analysis of the Positive Behavioral Support Programming for the
individuals served at Rise & Shine. Specifically, the position
shall ensure the development of Positive Behavior Support Plans
according to licensing-related rules and regulations. Interpersonal

develops and reviews team-based Positive Behavior Support Plans
(PBSPs) and Interaction Guidelines Creates and reviews Functional
Behavior Assessments Assists Behavior Specialist 2 and Department
in behavior data capture and analysis in support of department
reporting. Monitors and approves monthly Proactive & Challenging
Behavior Reports Collaborates and assists in the creation of
Person-Centered Plans Participates in and responses to Behavioral
Crisis Management Provide program observation and direct coaching
to Program Manager, Lead & Direct support staff Develops
Interaction Guidelines Ensures plans and documents adhere to OAR
standards and requirements as well as Rise & Shine policies and
procedures Assist Behavior Department in auditing current PBSP/FBA
documents to ensure all OAR requirements are being met.
Communicates issues of noncompliance and quality to Management
Ensures team-based participation by soliciting feedback and input
Educates Program Manager to PBSP training and systems Collaborates
with Program Manager to ensure staff education, timelines, and
success Collaborates with Program Manager and/or Program Director
to ensure program team training is provided when needed in response
to specific individual issues Collaborates with training department
to develop and implement behavior-related education Educates staff
on behavior-specific issues Leads OIS Certification Training as
needed Actively working towards OIS Instructor certification if not
currently certified Assists supported individuals with intense
psychiatric and behavioral events Other duties as assigned by

with or without notice. Education & Experience Requirements: Valid
license to practice as a Qualified Mental Health Professional
Possess a Master of Arts or Master of Science in psychology,
sociology, human services, education, social work, or the
equivalent AND one (1) year of experience using positive behavior
support services with individuals who experience intellectual or
developmental disabilities. Experience performing professional
behavior services using positive behavior support services Proven
abilities in: Developing and implementing behavioral documentation
systems in compliance with OARs Application of Oregon
Administrative rules to specific situations Understanding of the
ISP process OIS Trainer Certification, or the ability to become
certified A behavior professional must meet all of the following
requirements: Be proficient in the English language. Maintain a
current approved criminal background check specific to their role
as a behavior professional as described in OAR 407-007- 0200
through 407-007-0370. Complete a minimum of 12 hours each
enrollment period of ongoing education in the field of positive
behavior support services, adaptive behaviors, behavior management,
or a related topic. Maintain certification in an ODDS-approved
behavior intervention curriculum. Must obtain and maintain, with
agency assistance, certification in First Aid and CPR, Mandatory
Abuse Reporting, Blood-borne Pathogens, and Oregon Interventions
Systems (OIS) (Note: all training is paid and provided by Rise &
Shine. Physical Demands: The physical demands descripted here are
