Job Description Job Description for Registered Behavioral Technician • RBTs are responsible for providing direct care to clients and implementing behavior intervention plans. • They work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and collaborate with other members of the treatment team. • RBTs must have excellent communication skills, as they will be working closely with clients and their families. • They must be able to explain treatment plans and progress to others in a clear and concise manner. • RBTs must have a strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques. • They must be able to implement treatment plans accurately and make adjustments as needed based on data collected during each session. • It is important for RBTs to maintain a positive attitude when working with clients. • Many individuals with developmental disabilities face challenges that can lead to frustration or difficult behaviors. • RBTs must remain calm and patient in these situations while still providing effective therapy. Required: ? Active DL license copy ? Active state RBT license copy ? Active BLS certification from AHA
