$2,604 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13
weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years
of Labor and Delivery experience required License: Active nursing
license required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS,
FHM, NRP Must-Have: Full labor and delivery experience, including
postpartum care Epic experience preferred, especially for RNs
Willingness to float to different areas within scope to meet
facility needs Ability to work weekends, with a minimum of every
other or 8 weekend shifts Description: The role requires a
registered nurse with strong labor and delivery skills. Candidates
must have experience in overseeing high-risk deliveries and
managing postpartum care. The nurse will assist with sterile
examinations and supports mothers during and after childbirth.
Knowledge of handling neonatal risks and providing adequate newborn
care is essential. The environment is fast-paced, requiring quick
decision-making and excellent communication skills. Familiarity
with protocols related to amnioinfusion, pain management, and
various obstetric emergencies is important. The nurse will
participate in patient education, including breastfeeding support
and discharge teaching. Additional responsibilities include
administering medications, monitoring fetal heart rates, and
performing cesarean section circulatory duties. Collaboration with
interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care is
