Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience:
Minimum 1 year required License: Active nursing license
Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Charting experience in Epic
preferred - Ability to perform diagnostic and interventional
hemodynamic monitoring - Experience with conscious sedation -
Proficient in recovery assistance for Cath Lab patients
Description: The position involves performing diagnostic and
interventional hemodynamic monitoring. You will conduct
neuro-interventions, vascular, and structured heart exams. You will
use Cath Lab specific equipment for hemodynamic monitoring.
Conscious sedation should be performed on adults according to
established policies and guidelines. You will assist in the
recovery of Cath Lab patients as needed in the post-anesthesia care
unit. Common equipment includes imaging systems and hemodynamic
monitoring systems. On-call requirements include 1-2 weeknights and
1 weekend every 4 weeks. You will work with interdisciplinary
support teams including respiratory services and pharmacy. The
patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
The daily census is approximately 10 patients with 5 visits per
day. Special procedures include various diagnostic and
interventional cardiac procedures. Skills required include the
