TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Bend, Oregon, 97701! Pay Information $3,261 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in NICU required. License: Current license required. Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS preferred. Must-Have: Experience to float to Pediatrics and stable post-partum couplet care a plus. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our NICU. This position may require floating to Pediatrics and stable post-partum couplet care. Nurses with NICU IV or 3 years of experience will be considered. Required patient ratios are 1:3. Candidates should have experience with charting in any system. Previous charge experience is preferred, along with community hospital exposure. Travel experience is mandatory for consideration. Candidates should possess skills in neonatal care, including blood glucose monitoring and phototherapy. Understanding of sepsis work-ups and neonatal dosages is required. Familiarity with high-frequency ventilation and managing oxygen delivery systems is essential. Developmental care and patient/family teaching are key responsibilities. Candidates must be able to conduct phlebotomy and thermoregulation effectively. A willingness to float is necessary to meet facility needs. Weekend coverage will be required, as outlined in the scheduling specifications. The unit supports a patient mix of neonates, adults, and pediatrics. Close collaboration with interdisciplinary support is expected.
