Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/10/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU (NICU) position with pediatric float requirements and every other weekend scheduling. Responsibilities - Work in a hospital Neonatal ICU with a typical census of 12 patients - Primary assignment in the NICU with float requirements to Pediatrics and stable postpartum couplet care - Patient ratio is 1:3 - Night shifts (3x12 hours) from 19:00 to 07:30 - Required to work every other weekend - Uses Epic EMR system; prior experience is strongly preferred - Must be willing to float to Pediatrics and stable postpartum couplet care areas as needed - Orientation shifts provided for both float departments - Maximum 7 total days of requested time off allowed during 13-week assignment - Modules must be completed during orientation and are required annually - Scrub requirements will follow hospital guidelines Requirements - Active OR RN license required - Minimum of 2 years NICU nursing experience required - Current BLS and NRP certifications required; PALS preferred - Must have experience working with Epic EMR or demonstrate willingness to learn - First-time travelers are not accepted - Applicants must live more than 75 miles from the facility Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-621590.
