Job Description Join Our Team as a Medical Oncologist in Coos Bay, Oregon! Join our esteemed team in the serene community of Coos Bay, Oregon, where exceptional work-life balance meets coastal charm. We are seeking a full-time or part-time Medical Oncologist and/or Hematologist to join our renowned cancer center, serving as the primary hub for top-tier cancer care across the southern coast of Oregon. Job Responsibilities: - Accepting part-time (48 hours per pay period) and full-time (80 hours per pay period) candidates. - BE (within 2 years)/BC in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology. - Preferred experience in Radiation Oncology. - Manage a patient demographic of roughly 20% Hematology and 80% Oncology, averaging 10-15 patients per day. - Conduct outpatient visits at a free-standing cancer center. - Collaborate with a highly skilled nurse infusion team in a state-of-the-art facility. - Participate in leading edge clinical trials and maintain a collaborative network with Oregon Health & Science University. - Enjoy an 8-hour workday schedule with a 1:4 call rotation (primarily critical lab calls). Qualifications: - Board Eligible (within 2 years) or Board Certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology. - Experience practicing Radiation Oncology preferred. - Clean malpractice history and background. - Ability to provide a copy of the NPDB self-query report. - Ties to Oregon (family in the area or previous residence). - Interest in either part-time or full-time employment. License and Certification Requirements: - Oregon medical license (or willing to obtain). - BLS certification (or willing to obtain).
