The Clinical Laboratory Scientist will most certainly feel supported in such a fantastic atmosphere.-- Reporting to the Director of Laboratory, the Clinical Laboratory Scientist will collaborate with the multidisciplinary laboratory team such as blood bank, and microbiology, to ensure that the hospital is providing accurate, timely, cost-effective, and efficient testing of all patient specimen samples.-- The Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs laboratory analysis of human biological specimens submitted for testing in accordance with laboratory policies, procedures and quality standards. They will document results into the Laboratory Information System (LIS). The Laboratory Scientist will ensure that testing is done and results are available for patients in a timely manner. They will ensure that specimens for analysis are appropriate and adequate to provide meaningful results, while understanding when specimen conditions or adequacy may impact test results and exercises professional judgment to reject, request recollection, consult with an ordering provider, or perform testing with clearly noting the altered circumstances at which the test was performed.-- Central Oregon has so much to offer all year round.
