Come join us and share our passion for serving our customers in a positively different way.--Manage all segments of Employee Benefits Sales service to achieve profit and growth objectives through effective customer service. Support the development and application of services designed to attract and retain customers in all market segments.-- Directly manage National Account Consultants and Service Managers within an assigned region.Responsibilities-Lead National Accounts Consultants and EB Service Managers to ensure appropriate focus on the customer is achieved throughout the customer life cycle. Provide leadership and counseling to manage customers towards successful renewals, salable due to consistent service delivery.-- Support consultants and managers advocacy of the customer within The Standard with all key internal partners, including within EB Operations and across ISG including Sales RVPs, Sales Managers and Sales Reps.------ ---Hire and develop human capital; create a performance based, incented workforce, contribute to the strategy and policy of the Employee Benefits Sales Department, reflect Corporate philosophies and stature. Responsible for the selection, development, motivation, appraisal and salary recommendations of reporting subordinates. --- Lead and/or facilitate team members in assessing customer needs in order to identify and implement customer-focused improvements in workflow, systems, and procedures; coordinate activities with other department and division stakeholders.--- Participate in market development activities to increase awareness of company products, services and capabilities to targeted audiences, including producers, existing customers and potential customers. Monitor and communicate industry trends, product and service innovations and customer strategic needs to appropriate internal and external players.--- Achieve annual increases in Pre-Tax Operating income, premium growth and meet ROE targetsQualificationsEducation: Bachelors degree in Business or related field. --Experience: Minimum of ten years progressive experience in Group Insurance or financial services industries with a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in management positions, demonstrated experience successfully managing an organization, demonstrated experience in managing large and complex customer relationships, demonstrated experience in successfully partnering cross organization to achieve business results, strong background in Standard Insurance Company products and services preferred, or the equivalent combination and/or relevant experience. --Professional certification required: NA--Travel requirements estimated 40% travel.--Compensation: This position is bonus eligible.--Standard Insurance Company, The Standard Life Insurance Company of New York, Standard Retirement Services, Inc., StanCorp Equities, Inc., StanCorp Investment Advisers, Inc. and StanCorp Mortgage Investors, LLC, marketed as The Standard, are Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity employers.
