Overview:The National Sales Manager is responsible for increasing broadcast and cable revenue by working with rep firms, agencies and clients to represent Zolo Media's suite of products and services. In addition, the National Sales Manager will handle some regional accounts which are transactional in nature and will be responsible for developing new regional business.
TDS Broadcasting LLC, a TDS company, also operates COTV11 and CO4 Visitors Network as Zolo Media, offering a wide range of viewing options for Central Oregonians.

Visit tdsinc.com.Responsibilities:Develop and grow strong relationships with national sales representatives (broadcast and cable) in individual offices to maximize revenue opportunities with our national accounts.
Use market-specific data (Comscore, Griffin, etc.) to negotiate rates and ratings and increase station shares of transactional business.
Develop and grow the established regional client base going deep and wide within the client/agency organizations for influencers and decision makers for growth opportunities.
Provide coaching and training to our national sales representatives and the new agency buyers.
Understand and monitor the competitive landscape to position Zolo Media effectively for revenue growth to national and regional clients.
Work collaboratively with the LSM and GM/GSM to develop rate cards, packages and promotions.
Work with support staff to ensure fulfillment of schedules, accurate traffic and billing, etc.Qualifications:Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree OR 4+ years' of professional work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working as a transactional seller in a broadcast and/or cable selling environment.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and insurance.Other Qualifications
    • Demonstrable performance of consistent account and revenue growth.
    • Demonstrable ability to establish, develop and maintain long-term relationships.
    • Demonstrable ability to analyze and project television ratings with Nielsen and comScore and to utilize quantitative and qualitative research and other media tools to position the stations competitively.
    • Exceptional communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
    • Strong work ethic with an innate desire to strive for excellence.
    • Self-motivated, goal driven and creative with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong judgement, ability to work autonomously, decision making and critical thinking skills.
    • Professionally interact with clients and co-workers; acute degree of social perceptiveness (soft skills); positive attitude and professional demeanor.
    • Internal and external customer focus; and a cultural fit within station organization.
    • Maintains an impeccable reputation of integrity and excellent customer service.
