The Management Development position is a two year Management Training program designed to provide naturally ambitious and motivated individuals with strong leadership skills an opportunity learn Touchmark operations and learn to lead by Touchmark's values. Over the course of the program, you will spend time in each of the functional departments of the community. The program is intended to prepare you to assume a management role within one of our beautiful communities upon completion.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Hospitality Management, Business Administration or other related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, as evidenced by leadership positions at work, school or in volunteer organizations;
  • Experience in the hospitality or service industry; working with seniors is a plus.
  • Must be comfortable giving oral presentations to small and large groups.
  • Must be willing to work occasional weekends and evenings as necessary.
  • Must demonstrate empathy toward others.Responsibilities:
    • Model the Touchmark Values in decision-making and in interactions with team members, residents, and guests.
    • Work alongside team members, both front line staff and managers, to ensure service excellence and operational efficiency.
    • Participate in Manager on Duty rotation.
    • Assist in hiring, training, and leading staff to fulfill the Touchmark mission and achieve operational objectives.
    • Champion, train and continually reinforce a culture of hospitality and service excellence.Benefits:
