The team currently is growing and changing and in need of an AP Manager to help lead the charge. This is a great chance for a highly motivated person with a couple years or more in a leadership role to take an early next step in their career and compensation level. Summary/objectiveThe Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for overseeing the accounts payable department, supervising the accounts payable staff and performing general accounts payable functions.Essential functionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Supervise and lead the accounts payable team Review weekly check run for correct accounting, coding and dates Create weekly EFT report Print checks Oversee permit payment process Oversee lien wavers Reconcile credit card account for permits Ensure all credit card charges are accounted for and entered into the system Manage the A/P process for multiple entities in Timberline and QuickBooks Calculate monthly interest to private lenders Develop, implement and maintain systems, procedures and policies, including accounts payable functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines Provide accounting assistance to department managers and operation staff; respond to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs.Skills:Sage, Timberline, Construction, Accounts payable, Accounting, Invoicing, ReconciliationTop Skills Details:Construction accounting experience preferred SAGE timberline (Must have)5+ years of AP experience2 + years in management About Aston Carter:Aston Carter is a distinguished global provider of recruitment and staffing services to companies requiring highly specialized business professionals.
