. 16.Maintain and update Manufacturing and Apprenticeship and Redmond Ca web pages as needed Maintain and update social media accounts with relevant and informative information. 17.Serve as backup Student Services Specialist and receptionist answering questions, in person and on the telephone, regarding program opportunities and student support services offered at COCC, specifically, the Redmond Campus. Serve as a reception for advising and financial aid appointments. Schedule student placement tests and financial aid appointments. 18.Assist students with registration, financial aid questions, Identification cards, and parking permits. Accept and process various student records, registrations, and financial aid forms. Maintain continual knowledge of deadlines and protocol for admissions and records. 19.Provide registration and payment services for Community Learning classes. 20.Provide cashiering services to students, faculty, and staff. To include tuition payments, petty cash, tuition payment plans, campus, and departmental credit card purchases. 21.Monitor and order supplies for faculty and staff. Monitor and order paper for Redmond Campus and computer labs. Order and monitor copy machine supplies and troubleshoot as needed. 22.Handle routine mail distribution. 23.Serve as backup to main Resource 25 scheduler. 24.Serve on college committees. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Individuals must possess these knowledge, skills, and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the duties and responsibilities of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities. The individual is expected to follow College work rules and policies. 1.Must be able to provide quality, accurate customer service. 2.Ability to interpret COCC policy and procedures. 3.Must have excellent word processing and spreadsheet experience in IBM Windows environment. 4.Must be able to work in an environment with frequent interruptions. 5.Must be able to learn campus-wide computer program used by COCC for creating classes, registering students, receiving payments, and tracking finances (BANNER). 6.Must be able to work with minimal supervision. 7.Must be able to prioritize duties and responsibilities in an environment with constant interruption. 8.Must be able to work with State Agencies, COCC departments, apprentices, trade committee representatives, instructors, students, and the community. 9.Must be able to demonstrate essential job functions outlined above. 10.Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, using the English language with or without the use of an interpreter. 11.Experience and/or training using current technologies and advanced software applications, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook email. Keyboarding skills at 55 wpm. 12.Ability to work cooperatively with and contribute to a diverse workplace through ideas or experience. Physical Demands and Other Ergonomic Requirements: General hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Work is performed in an office environment, mostly sitting. The computer screen is used more than 50-70 percent of the time. The employee is regularly required use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms and requires near visual acuity to write, read written materials and computer screens, and sufficient hearing and speech ability for ordinary telephonic conversations. Physical movements involve guiding, feeding materials into proper position. Lifting objects vary daily, ranging up to 20lbs All individuals are required to be able to perform the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
