Bookkeeper / Accounting ClerkBend, ORCurrently seeking a Bookkeeper /--Accounting Clerk for a great opportunity with one of Central Oregon's biotech companies. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of Accounting and APAR experience.Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper / Accounting Clerk:* Enter data, maintain records and launch reports and financial statements, perform account reconciliations* Record day to day financial transactions and complete posting process.* Process accounts receivable/payable in a timely manner* Verify that transactions are recorded correctly, including financial communication between the company's inventory control system ERP system* Make collection calls as needed* GL reconciliation* Operate office machines such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, personal computers, etc* Scheduling and general administration* Mail processing and delivery* Complies with all company policies, procedures and safety regulations* Other Duties as assignedJob Requirements:Requirements of the Bookkeeper / Accounting Clerk:* 2-4 years of accounting and apar experience minimum* Proficiency using MS Office, Oracle, and Quickbooks* Minimum Typing speed of 45 WPM* Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable principles* Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records* Strong data entry and computer skills along with proficiency working with numbers* Hands-on experience with creating and maintaining--spreadsheets* Ability to pay close attention to detail, meet daily deadlines, and multi-task in fast paced environment* Effective verbal and written communications skills* Outstanding organizational skills* Positive attitude* AS degree in finance, accounting or proven work experience as a bookkeeper* Recent and relevant work experience* 2 Professional ReferencesCompensation and Benefits for the Bookkeeper / Accounting Clerk:* M-F full time* Long term Contract to hire opportunity* Health Benefits* Opportunities for advancement* Live, work, and play in Central OregonCompany OverviewPrideStaff can offer you a wide-range of rewarding career options.
