Job Description:

Salary: Starting at $58k to $74k a year, depending on experience +
CommissionSchedule: Monday-Friday 8am to 5pmLocation: Bend,
OregonThe Contractor Salesperson executes all aspects of our sales
call process and strategies, with primary focus on aggressive
prospecting of new residential and commercial contractors. They
will facilitate and coordinate business activities of accounts and
executing PARR Sales initiatives. This position is responsible for
cultivating relationships with builders and general contractors
which supports our vision to be the supplier of choice for all
building material products in the Northwest.Directly reports to
Division Sales Manager. Interacts daily with yard managers &
employees (in store and outside yard) and customers. Interacts
regularly with corporate employees (Central Purchasing Department,
Account Management Team, Human Resources Department, and IT
Department.) Interacts regularly with vendor representatives and
industry associates.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED
equivalent2 years sales experience preferredPrior experience in the
building materials industry preferredMust have good driving record
and ability to maintain the sameMust be able to operate personal
computer, smartphone, scanner, and any other equipment necessary
for the jobMust be able to type 30+ WPMProficiency in Microsoft
Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to speak, write, and read English
requiredClass C Driver's License or reliable alternative
transportationKnowledge of building materials and their usesProven
ability to develop relationships that translate into new business
for PARRKnowledge of PARR purchasing principles, practices, and
protocolsBeing prepared for individual and group sales

working conditions for the contractor sales position are divided
between time in an office with a desk and being out interacting
